I designed this cover for the first edition of Philip Fracassi’s horror novelette, D7, published May 2025.

Both the title and the author’s name are subtle here. That would typically be a dealbreaker for most, as it puts the art above commercial concerns, for both the author and the publisher. Having Fracassi’s name big and bold on the cover would have helped sell more copies. But this just makes for such a cool cover and I’m very thankful the author loved it and was enthusiastic to go in this direction with me.
